When the season draws to better what could be nicer than going to discover beautiful places on your bike? So this morning we decided to get up early and leave for the Kalterersee which is located in the south of South Tyrol.
Ride on the wine of bolzanoIl contrast between the snow-capped mountains on which the facilities and ski slopes are still open, and the spring landscape that offers us the lake is incredible. Our program for the day? Nothing definite or special but through the villages that populate the street Wine Route maybe stopping to taste some typical dishes of South Tyrol.

The path that meanders through the vineyards towards Caldaro is really beautiful. Once there, we decided to climb in Castelvecchio although the climb is quite challenging. But the effort is worthwhile: the view of the lake and surrounding mountains is simply wonderful!

Back to Caldaro take the beautiful path towards Andriano and we decided to have lunch at one of our favorite restaurants in the area “Schwarzer Adler”. White wine, a nice risotto with asparagus and new at the end a sweet dream: there we earned!
