At the fair in Amsterdam on active tourism, the bike lane Alpe Adria, was voted best path of Europe

Finally some good news for the world of cycling in Italy !! The Ciclovia Alpe Adria was voted best bike path this year. The recognition comes from one of the most important fairs of active holiday in Amsterdam which places the path, between the infrastrutDS110623_0086-293x212ture top at European level so as to give it a gold medal on a par with the Tour of the Channel. The value of the project is recognized also by the number of steps recorded precisely in Tarvisio ques’anno in the period from April to September: 680 000 transits.

The bike lane Alpe Adria was rated the best among the 12 journeys made recently in Europe. These paths were judged on the basis of certain criteria including signage, the quality and originality of the track. With a route of about 400 km, the path leads cyclists from Salzburg to Grade through Carinthia and Friuli Venezia Giulia. To make the most of the track, the Province of Udine has created a road book in Italian and German with various tabs on the itinerary enriched with the various possibilities of discovering the places near the runway.

The ebook is downloaded from the corporate website of Authority (www.provincia.udine.it) to guide tourists in the discovery of the region on two wheels. From the main axis of the Alpe Adria also meander further 13 new routes for cycling mapped by the Province of Udine in collaboration with Fiab Fvg; new opportunities for knowledge for lovers of slow tourism.
